@gock how many people lost their eyesight from the solar eclipse from last week?

Speaking of solar eclipses, I remember being at the occupational therapy place waiting for my turn on 2017-08-21 (the day of the solar eclipse that everyone was talking about at the time), and I noticed a man with those special glasses for seeing the eclipse happen. Because this was Florida, I never got to see the eclipse cause totality (as in the moon didn’t block the sunlight entirely), but you could still see the eclipse if you had the glasses. The man let me put on the glasses, and then lifted me up so that I could get a better view of the eclipse.
